Keeping Track of Everywhere We Want to Go

Writer: Kelly MillerKelly Miller

We run into fellow travelers everywhere we go. Whether it be on a hiking trail or in a hot tub, we are always talking about this amazing world and all of the things that God has created. So how do we keep track of everywhere we’ve been and everywhere we still want to go?

We use Google Maps

For this example (since we just went there today), let’s use Mesa Verde National Park. When I open Google Maps I type or talk to text “Mesa Verde National Park”. From there I scroll to the right until I see “ Save”. I then mark it as “want to go”.

Once I’ve visited a specific place, I go back into Google Maps and mark it as “favorites”.

Google Maps also allows you to add custom categories. We save places we’ve stayed and our favorite restaurants as well. We get asked often for recommendations and this makes it easy to show our new friends the best places. We also, of course, refer them to our website and blog for more detailed information. 😜
