Kelly’s Not Too Spicy Chili

This chili recipe is a family favorite! I got the base of the recipe from my sister and adjusted it for our liking. I hope you enjoy it!



2 lbs ground turkey

1 large sweet onion, minced

1 large can of Bushes Mild Chili beans

3 cans of other different beans (do not drain) suggested beans are 1 each of Great Northern Beans, Black Beans and Navy Beans

1 jar of mild salsa

1 can of Del Monte Fiesta Corn (do not drain)

1 tablespoon ground cumin (my not so secret ingredient!)

2 teaspoons chili powder

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder


Brown the turkey meat and the onion together. In a crock pot or insta pot put all of the beans, salsa and corn together, add the meat and spices. If you’re using an Insta Pot, I recommend adding an extra cup of water. Cook on low while you are off enjoying life! Come home and enjoy for dinner!


Optional Fixings: we enjoy eating this with corn chips or Taco Flavored Doritos. We also enjoy diced onions, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese and sour cream on top.
