Roswell, New Mexico and Bottomless Lakes State Park

Roswell, NM is a fun stopover for all alien entheusiasts! Be sure to check out the International UFO Museum and Research Center.

Bottomless Lakes State Park is just a short drive from Roswell, NM. Although we did not stay overnight at the state park, we enjoyed a drive-through with a few short stops and a wetlands boardwalk hike.

These lakes were formed from sinkholes and are actually classified as cenotes. Several of the lakes are stocked with trout during the winter months.

If you stay at the RV park they do have some sites with full hookups as well as good free Wi-Fi and an excellent beach facility for swimming and picnicking in the shade.
