Otter Creek State Park

A Fisherman's Paradise

Otter Creek State Park was a surprisingly wonderful stop in the middle of the "Mighty Five". We chose this park so that we could be near enough to Capitol Reef and Bryce Canyon to take a day or two and hike those areas. The park itself, situated on Otter Creek Reservoir is a fisherman's paradise. A great boat roap and dock area. Most sites back up to the pebbled beach and your pup is welcome to join you on the shoreline as you fish for trout. Most sites are partial hookups with water and electric and a convenient dump station. There is a bit of cell reception on the east end of the park and we were able to tune into 33 chanels with our antenna. The staff are top notch and will go out of their way to help you with anything you need.
