Silver Mountain Ride and Dine

We happened across an amazing adventure just outside of Coeur d’Alene. The Silver Mountain ride and dine is a gondola ride 3.1 miles up the mountain,

Plus a barbecue with live music, and if you have your bikes you can ride back down the mountain on the bike paths. The gondola ride takes about 20 to 25 minutes and brings you approximately 3000 feet up in elevation. Don’t forget to stop in at the bar near the base of the gondola and grab a beer for the ride up the mountain.

This sweet adventure is only available on select days in the summer.

After taking the gondola 3.1 miles to the top, we exited to 360° views from the mountain. Off to the side is a chairlift that takes you down one section and back up. For the mountain bikers this is a great opportunity to ride from the top down to that section and then ride the chairlift with their mountain bikes back up the mountain where they can start again on this epic riding loop.

After visiting with some new friends that we made along the way we grabbed our bbq and beer and sat down to enjoy some live music with the mountains as an amazing backdrop.
