Horseshoe Bend

Horseshoe Bend has changed quite a bit since we visited this iconic landmark back in the early 2010's. Now there is an entrance station with a $10 per vehicle entrance fee. The area has improved it's safety by creating a hardened 1.5 mile footpath down to the overlook area.

Horsehoe Bend is part of the Glen Canyon Recreation area and is just 9 miles from the start of the Grand Canyon. Located in Page, Arizona, this quick stop is close to many other area attractions. We recommend Antelope Canyon, The Grand Canyon, Grand Staircase Escalante, Coyote Buttes and Vermillion Cliffs National Monument as must sees while in Northern Arizona.
