Smoky Mountain National Park

A Beautiful Place To See the Fall Leaves

Growing up in Atlanta and then living in North Carolina for years, we have been to the Smokies many times. This trip was exciting because we were visitng during peak fall season and it was our 27th National Park in 2022!

We came in from the north and stopped at the Sugarlads Visitor Center. From there we drove down Little River Road. We stopped to hike and take pictures at Mannis Branch Falls, The Sinks and Meigs Falls. Next we drove down to Cades Cove. At Cades Cove we headed north on Rich Mountain Road which gave us some great views. From Townsend we jumped on the Foothills Parkway which also gave us some great overlook stops.
