Three Rivers State Park
A Bird Lovers Paradise
Three Rivers State Park was just the quiet oasis that we needed following 2 months of working and playing in The Villages. We woke up every morning to the sounds of thousands of birds as they flock to the marshy waters of the Chattahoochee and Flint Rivers where they converge to make Lake Seminole. Located on the Florida, Alabama, Georgia lines, this park was in a great location to be just far enough away from civilization to give us the respit that we were needing. We took advantage of the beautiful area and pulled out our kayak for a day of paddeling and bird watching. Although bird hunting is not allowed within the park, you will hear the early morning and early evening hunters along the lake as they look to take home their allotment of birds.
